Duties would include:

Accountable for the profitable growth of the trade
Develop and implement strategies to grow volumes on assigned trade lane in Ocean (FCL & LCL) and Air.
Drive volume growth and new business opportunities through a combination of direct sales activity from own customer portfolio (qualification to closure) and support to Business Development and Key Account teams as subject matter expert for your trades.
Develop and maintain joint pipeline
To work closely with Trade and Pricing teams, exchanging market intelligence and ensuring rate competitiveness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key overseas partners in selected markets.
Act as the main point of contact for partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Travel regularly to assigned trade area to increase market understanding and knowledge, meet existing and prospective customers and develop deeper relationships with key partners.
Lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at improving performance, exploring new trade opportunities, or enhancing partner relations.

Quoting on spot shipments from the network and tenders
Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers
Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within an agreed timeframe
Communicate with customers to manage and follow up on all quotes, obtaining feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to relevant teams

Duties would include:

To oversee the day to day smooth running of the operation
Responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company runs to its maximum productivity.
Conduct monthly reviews/ presentations with the customers or as and when required.
Ensure budgets are properly controlled and managed, to achieve best profitability for the company but not at the expense of the customer.
Oversee the customer service delivered by the team and assess that they are meeting customer satisfaction goals. Ensure this is by reviewing customer reviews and customer related statistics
Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as and when requested
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
