Duties would include:

  • Accountable for the profitable growth of the trade
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow volumes on assigned trade lane in Ocean (FCL & LCL) and Air.
  • Drive volume growth and new business opportunities through a combination of direct sales activity from own customer portfolio (qualification to closure) and support to Business Development and Key Account teams as subject matter expert for your trades.

Operations Clerk- Ocean and road freight

  • Handling ocean and road freight shipments

Duties would include:

  • To oversee the day to day smooth running of the operation
  • Responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company runs to its maximum productivity.
  • Conduct monthly reviews/ presentations with the customers or as and when required.
  • Ensure budgets are properly controlled and managed, to achieve best profitability for the company but not at the expense of the customer.
  • Oversee the customer service delivered by the team and assess that they are meeting customer satisfaction goals. Ensure this is by reviewing customer reviews and customer related statistics
  • Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as and when requested
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
